Why NYCOTUFF: Durability In Tough Applications

NYCOA has extensive experience in developing impact-modified grades of nylon for specialty applications

with NYCOTUFF, Nycoa has expanded that experience to also provide its own grades of “Super-tough” polyamide. Super tough nylons are crystalline thermoplastic nylons that are often based on either nylon 6.6 or pure nylon 6. NYCOTUFF nylons use multiple different approaches to achieve superior resistance to repeated impact loads, without sacrificing rigidity, tensile strength, chemical resistance, and energy return. NYCOA has even incorporated long-chain chemistries into our NYCOTUFF line to provide the same resilience with an even broader resistance profile.

Most common applications of the NYCOTUFF lines is injection molding and extrusion of parts that receive extreme impact forces and loads over a wide temperature and humidity range and high productivity.
