NXTamid-L: Innovative Specialty Polyamides - Your Substitute for Nylon 12

The NXTamid-L family of specialty engineered nylons are unique in the performance they offer, and are quite different from polyamide grades that might be more commonly seen in different applications, such as Nylon 6 or Nylon 66. These specialty high performance polyamides most commonly refer to Nylon 12, Nylon 11, and Nylon 1010. They are more flexible, have lower moisture absorption, more robust chemical resistance, and other special features that make them unique for high performance applications. Nylon 11 and Nylon 12 are the most common of these nylons, and unfortunately can present some limitations on applications, including availability and price.
